What skin issues can be identified by Visia?

The Visia Skin Analysis is able to identify and analyse 8 skin criteria:

  • Skin lesions and spots (freckles, sun spots, acne, acne scars)
  • Enlarged or open pores
  • Lines and wrinkles
  • Uneven skin tone and texture
  • Porphyrins (the bacteria associated with acne)
  • UV spots and sun damage
  • Redness from Rosacea, acne, and spider naevi
  • Brown spots such as moles and melasma

The Visia skin analysis device can also report skin age. Using the criteria above the Visia analysis compares your skin results to that of other people of the same age and ethnicity and provides additional information about your own skin age and condition. This report is provided to you at the end of your analysis.
